We've Moved!

Exciting things are happening at the nursery.   As many of you know we have moved the growing grounds to Foothill Road, just west of Wells Road.  A beautiful spot with its own unique characteristics, which has turned out to be a superb location for nursery tree production. Trees scheduled for Spring 2012 delivery are already robust so they should be ready for pick up after the last threat of frost has passed.  The greenhouse foundation is in place with hopes for a completed structure by early spring.  Our long awaited permanent offices are still awaiting but hope springs eternal-likely in 2013.

Tree Sales

Tree demand is strong for both avocado and citrus. We are sold out of most varieties until Spring 2013, and selling down quickly.    If you have tree needs please contact us and we will discuss timelines and options. We are open Monday through Friday 7AM-4:30PM at the Foothill Road location.  Call or stop by.

Introducing the Brokaw Nursery Newsletter

We are delighted to bring this to you.  We will be publishing newsletters frequently during the fall and winter months and less frequently during the spring and summer. We will cover a wide variety of useful topics of interest regarding winter preparations, high density plantings, fertilizing, pruning and more for growing avocado, citrus, kiwifruit and even cherimoya.

We have two changes in the Sales office. Larry Rose, long time Brokaw Nursery Sales Manager, is now assisting customers with their on-site growing questions and concerns on a full time basis. Aimee Meidinger is the newest addition to the sales office and has been the designer behind the new website!  She’s here to help you with tree orders, pick ups and general tree questions.  Aimee’s a graduate of Cal State Fresno (Plant Science) and working towards her MBA in International Business at Cal Lutheran.  Shelley’s still here – she won’t go away.
