Here's how to order:

• Select the type of sale you prefer (F.O.B., C.I.F. etc)

• Determine any special requirements for documentation or shipping.

• Send us this information via fax, email, or regular mail.

When we receive your information we will issue you a pro forma invoice which will include confirmed product prices and estimated shipping and documentation charges. After you receive our quotation, confirm your order by sending an advance payment or Letter of Credit, and an import permit. This confirmation must reach us by November 1, for shipping the following season.

It's that simple!

Once your order confirmation is received we begin to grow your plants as grafted liners. These are small scion grafted plants grown under hothouse conditions in a soilless medium composed of peat moss and perlite. They are grown in flexible plastic containers approximately 6 cm. in diameter and 22 cm. high. The aerial portion of the plant will be 15 cm. to 25 cm. in height when shipped. When you receive your grafted liners from Brokaw Nursery they should be planted in large nursery containers for several months before transplanting into your plantation.

Shipping Dates and Procedures:

• Grafted Liners - May and June

• Budwood and Graftwood - January through March

• Citrus Seed - December through February

• Avocado Seed - October through December

All liners are shipped by airfreight with the required documentation. A phytosanitary certificate will be provided if requested or required. Grafted liners are transported in cardboard cartons containing 50 plants, and weighing approximately 29 kg. Avocado seed is packed in fiber drums weighing approximately 123 kg. Budwood is shipped in styrofoam containers with blue ice weighing approximately 14 kg. Citrus seed is packed in plastic bags and shipped in cardboard cartons.

Prices for larger quantities, avocado grafted liners on clonal rootstock, non-standard varieties of avocado, citrus, kiwi, or other subtropical species will be quoted on request.
